Alpha Eagle Helmets supplied to Devon Air Ambulance supporting their night flying campaign
As an approved UK distributor for Helmet Integrated Systems Ltd we supply the world famous Alpha helmets for military and civil pilots of jets, fast wing planes and helicopters. We recently supplied Devon Air Ambulance with a number of Alpha Eagle helmets with Fenns night vision capability, giving pilots exceptional performance in low light conditions. Flight Operations Director, Ian Payne of Devon Air Ambulance said, “all aircrew have noted the significantly better intercom and noise properties of the helmets, essential for critical communications across the team”.

Ian Payne of Devon Air Ambulance was pleased with the service supplied from SES. Devon Air Ambulance are working with communities to enable them to fly longer into the night, with the helicopter now flight ready, they are developing a network of floodlit ‘community landing sites’ which will enable them to bring a life-saving service into the heart of communities when it is dark.
