POD-8

Designed for and used by the United States Coast Guard as their light weight, air droppable 8- person search & rescue liferaft . The POD-8 also fully supports the stowage limitations of US Navy. This inflatable raft is designed for static line air drop applications from helicopter or fixed wing aircraft. With a distinctive and non-reversible octagonal shape the large tube of the liferaft provides a significant amount of additional buoyancy in the event of a puncture.

This 8-person POD-8 air droppable raft:

  • Light weight rescue solution
  • Air droppable
  • 200lb buoyancy per person
  • 8-person raft
