SES have undergone certification to become MSA Gallet UK’s authorised distributor and maintainer for their jet air craft, helicopter and general aviation helmet range.
Last week a team of engineers from SES undertook extensive training on all aspects of service and maintenance of the helmet range in accordance to the manufacturers requirements including helmet assembly, safety testing, fault diagnosis and parts replacement. This training was in addition to SES’s distributor status covering all product knowledge and fitting of the helmets ensuring customers obtain the appropriate advice and guidance on purchase.
The service functionality that SES will provide for MSA compliments the mobile service workshop already widely adopted by SES customers. Engineers from SES can fully service helmets whilst out on-site preventing minimal operational downtime and the MSA Gallet helmets will now be included to this service. Such a service is considered highly desirable in markets such as the Air Ambulance sector which needs to remain functional at all times.
MSA are a global manufacturer of safety products and their aviation helmets are just one aspect of a large safety portfolio of head protection and other facility infrastructure products. This certification will ensure that SES safety fulfils a seamless sales and service function to the full aviation helmets range giving guidance and choice to its customers in aviation across the globe.
