Survival Equipment Services SES has achieved an upgrade to its current Quality Management Standard, to ISO 9001:2015.  The audit, which took place this week by Exova BM TRADA confirms the hard work and commitment by SES to meet the upgrade to this latest standard.

An upgrade from the ISO 9001:2008 was introduced in 2015 and represents best practice in managing and monitoring quality management processes across an organisation.

Meeting ISO 9001:2015 ensures engagement by management with an organisation’s quality management system to drive business performance. This replacement makes business processes even more efficient, with its high-level structure and relates to the challenges facing business today.

Del Hall, Founder & CEO of SES said of the upgrade, “quality management is at the heart of everything we do to drive best practice across the organisation. As a manufacturer and distributor of aircrew escape & personal safety equipment the ability to improve our customer service and make us even more accountable to exceed expectations was the driving force for this ISO upgrade. Our quality management systems are fully traceable and integrated into our company strategy meaning that our processes are even more lean and efficient.

“For SES, achieving this standard in quality management is pivotal as we enter a period of contractual growth. With our quality management systems fully integrated with other key management systems in the business, we are well positioned to assess risk whilst considering the opportunities facing our business for the future”.
